-The first is Focus on purpose- all my projects that I made for this class had a topic that had a focus or message to be conveyed. My first hyperessay was about how the elderly are disabled in this new world of technology, my second project, which was a movie, conveyed the message about how social media has become such an important part of how we view our appearances and looks, and my final hyperessay is about the use of social media in political campaigning these days.
-Since this class uses the medium of blogging, my audience isn’t just limited to the professor and the students in the class, but to anyone who has access to my website. Thus, I believe through my work I responded to the needs of the diverse audience.
-In this class we used three ways in displaying our work the first one was blogging, which was more informal and was used to reflect on our readings and give ideas about our future projects, the second one was a more formal tone which was used in the websites and I also used a digital tone which was through the Ethnography film I made for the project. Therefore, through the three projects and the blogs I adopted different levels of formality and got to write in different genres.
-Since this class was centered around blogging and making websites we did make a lot of use of electronic device for drafting, editing and revising the projects.
The class taught me a lot of the things on the CWPA checklist. Those mentioned by me above are just a few important ones that common to the three projects that I did along with the blog posts.
